    Job Description
       

    Do you have experience as the parent or caregiver of a child/youth with special needs (particularly mental health needs)? Start a career in human services sharing your experiences and providing support to other families.

    The Family Partner is a vital part of our team and provides a structured peer support to a parent/caregiver of  children or youth for the purpose of addressing the youth’s emotional and behavioral needs.  This is accomplished by enhancing parenting capacity and increasing access to natural community resources to enable the parent/caregiver to parent the youth successfully.

    Required:

    Experience: Experience working with parent/caregivers and youth with Serious Emotional Disturbance or complex needs involving mental health, child protective, or probation services. Experience navigating any of the child and family serving systems.

    Skills: Must have Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
